Guiding you through
the universe of ABA
Grounded, ethical education for real-world practice.
Hi, I’m Teon.
.
I’m a Registered Behavior Technician, student analyst, and future mental health counselor with a background in psychology and applied behavior analysis. I created ABA, Made Human as a space to hold both truth and growth — because I believe you can practice evidence-based ABA without losing your humanity, or anyone else’s.
As I’ve grown in this field, I’ve come to see that ABA is only one part of a much larger picture. Behind every treatment plan is a family navigating stress, uncertainty, hope, and emotional complexity. I’ve also seen how overwhelming this work can feel for RBTs who are trying to meet high expectations while carrying the emotional weight of supporting vulnerable clients and families.
ABA, Made Human exists to slow things down and bring clarity back. It’s a place where I share what I’m learning in real time as I evolve from an RBT into a therapist focused on supporting autism-impacted families. Here, I explore the intersection of behavior science, mental health, ethics, and lived experience.
This space is for practitioners who want to learn ABA in a grounded, compassionate, and sustainable way — and for anyone who believes that supporting behavior should never mean losing sight of the whole human being behind it.
— Jasmine “Teon” Monroe.
ABA doesn’t have to feel cold to be effective.
ABA, Made Human is a space for RBTs and learners who want clear, ethical, and grounded ABA education—without hustle culture, rigidity, or dehumanizing language.
Here, behavior science is taught with context, care, and respect for neurodiversity, practitioner well-being, and real life.
Because ABA is practiced by people—and it should feel human.
